Hey church family, thanks for allowing me to share with you my heart yesterday (Nov. 18). I know that there are a number of opinions floating around about this merge with Northside and the hesitation of moving to a traditional building. I truly appreciate any comments but more importantly your prayers as we seek God’s plan. I, personally, am really excited to see what is ahead and how we as a body respond to the needs in Plainview. God bless and have a great Thanksgiving holiday.
I do have some concerns about a merge but I also want what God intends for Stonebridge.
I don’t want Stonebridge to change the way we worship. Not so concerned about the place, we can worship anywhere( when God is there),but the way we do it here is very important to me. It is what drew me to Stonebridge in the first place. I needed this kind of worship and was blessed to find it (finally) in a Baptist church.Thanks for listening and I hope this makes sense. M
Do not worry Michelle. I truly value our worship as well and hope that we can enhance it as we grow. Part of the process in talking with North side is that they would need to come and be a part of one of our worship services so they can see how we celebrate on Sundays.
